About Emmanuelle

Emmanuelle Zysman, Jewelry Designer

A House Founded in 2004

Emmanuelle Zysman founded her house in 2004, after several years designing bags and leather accessories. The turning point came with a silver bracelet designed for a friend: a lucky charm that became impossible to keep in stock. Jewelry then became the center of gravity of a universe she built stone by stone, motto by motto, in her Montmartre workshop.

A Recognizable Aesthetic

Hand-hammered surfaces, engraved Latin mottos, semi-precious stones chosen for their hue and not their conformity. Pink and green tourmalines, rose-cut aquamarines, red spinels, champagne diamonds. Emmanuelle's iconography draws from several territories: medieval alchemy, esotericism, Greek mythology, cabinets of curiosities, the circus world, and Emir Kusturica's films. Memory and love are the two themes that infuse all her collections.

Her jewelry resembles talismans — objects worn like convictions, almost like armor. Stackable rings, protective bracelets, motto necklaces, hammered wedding bands: each piece is designed to live through time, accompany daily life, and acquire a personal patina.

Craftsmanship

Emmanuelle's workshop is located at 81 rue des Martyrs, in the 18th arrondissement, a few steps from Place des Abbesses. It is there that she designs, sets, and hammers, accompanied by a small team of artisans. The techniques used are those of traditional French jewelry making: hand-hammering, bezel setting, intaglio engraving, and lost-wax casting.

The house primarily works with 18-carat gold (yellow, white, rose), 950 platinum, sterling silver, and vermeil (5-micron gold-plated silver). All stones are individually selected from trusted European lapidaries.

Bespoke Design

A large part of Emmanuelle's work is bespoke: transforming an inherited piece of jewelry, remounting a family stone, designing a unique engagement ring, creating a wedding band that does not yet exist. Appointments can be made in-store or virtually, and the project is developed over several weeks, from sketch to final delivery.
